Text Box: Founded in 1936, the Monroe County Rod & Gun Club, Inc. is a private members only gun club affiliated with the Michigan United Conservation Clubs and is located on 98 acres in the Avalon Beach area of Monroe Township.  We are a family oriented club with many events to accommodate all ages.    We offer Open to the Public Trap, Skeet and 5 Stand shooting.  The Rifle, Outdoor and Indoor Archery ranges are limited to members and their invited guests.    We offer many events during the year that are open to the public, please check our calendar for upcoming events.  We have a Fish Fry the first Friday and a Steak Roast on the third Thursday of every month.  Annual events include our famous Wild Game Dinner, Friends of the NRA dinner, Muskrat and Beaver Dinner and many others.    If you are interested in becoming a member please stop by the club house and pick up an application. Membership openings are limited.
